The campground is home to a small yurt community. Yurt The Stork overlooks the meadow and has a private garden with lounge sofa, seating and fire bowl. The yurt is round which gives you a separate experience of the space. The space embraces you as it were and immediately gives you a friendly and restful feeling. You share the new floor-heated sanitary facilities (March 2023) with the other yurt-renters and the camping guests. On the grounds there is a camping field, a common room "The Sparrow" and a terrace with pizza oven that can also be used by the guests. There are also about 20 chickens in the run so in the morning you can get fresh eggs! Furthermore, there are several cats running loose on the property. Our dogs Nelson and Lizzy also run free from time to time. No pets are allowed in the yurt.
Nature and surroundings
The campsite is located in the Betuwe directly on the Lower Rhine. Cross the dike and you walk into the floodplains where you can walk, swim and enjoy the beautiful views. The Utrechtse Heuvelrug with its many hiking, cycling and MTB trails is also nearby. Just take the ferry to Amerongen and you are there.

Nature, peace & environment:A lovely place and the yurt is fully equipped. Nice and good bed, also very nice. Nearby (cycling distance) are plenty of nice villages and beautiful bike rides. It is handy to have a bike or car with you, because within walking distance there is very little to do.
Een heerlijke plek en de yurt is van alle gemakken voorzien. Lekker en goed bed, ook heel fijn. In de buurt (op fietsafstand) zijn genoeg leuke dorpjes en mooie fietstochten te maken. Wel handig om een fiets of auto bij je te hebben, want op loopafstand is er heel weinig te beleven.

Nature, peace & environment:Men is bezig om het terrein te bewerken waardoor er praktisch de hele dag een graafmachine was te horen. Yurts hebben genoeg ruimte. Ik had graag een wat weidser uitzicht gehad op het landschap. Bij sommige yurts heb je dat, ik helaas niet. Natuur is prachtig
