How nice that you are interested in our beautiful, new vacation home. Located in the forest, you can enjoy a few days away in peace and quiet! This cottage is on the outskirts of the village of Mariënberg, but far from the road. That makes it cozy, familiar and restful. In the morning you will wake up to birds whistling, in a home equipped with all modern conveniences. You will find a fully equipped kitchen with stove, coffee maker, kettle, oven and refrigerator. The bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and 1 of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. You can use the washing machine, it is in the bathroom.The supermarket is around the corner, great to get fresh bread there in the morning! Also train station and restaurants are within walking distance. We offer space for up to 6 adults and 2 children (up to 4 years). On request a camp bed and highchair can be added. There is a coal barbecue available which can be used.
Nature and surroundings
The beautiful surroundings of the Overijssel Vechtdal lend themselves to hikers, cyclists, families, young and old. Our cottage is located in an area with many recreational opportunities in the Overijsselse Vechtdal. The cottage is located on the outskirts of the village Mariënberg with the necessary facilities. In the village is a train station and from the main road the cottage is easily accessible. With the many hiking possibilities, including the Pieterpad and Vechtdalpad in the area, you are in the perfect place to completely relax. Nature, peace & environment:Our experience is not positive, upon entering ( 15.00 the temperature was 11 degrees. The cottage has underfloor heating, and it was only comfortable (19 degrees around 20:00) In addition, we expected the hostess, she had announced herself to meet us later. We never met her. We slept badly because of the church bells ringing every half hour and a major road nearby. We were informed that a coffee filter machine with coffee, tea, sugar, milk would be present, however, the coffee filters were missing. Otherwise we found the cottage beautiful and well equipped.I disagree with the arrangement of the deposit. When booking was paid € 300 deposit ( December 7 ) and only this morning( January 19 ) refunded. This is not correct. My experience with others is, payment of deposit on arrival to owner and deposit returned on departure. All in all, I would appreciate a refund.

Wij hebben slecht geslapen door de kerkklok die om het half uur zijn klokken luiden, en daarnaast een grote weg inde buurt. Er was aan ons doorgegeven dat een koffie filter apparaat met koffie, thee , suiker melk aanwezig zou zijn, echter ontbraken de koffie filters. Verder vonden wij het huisje mooi en goed uitgerust.
Ik ben het niet eens met het regelen van de borg. Bij de boeking is er € 300 borg betaald ( 7 December ) en vanochtend pas( 19 Januari) teruggestort. Dit klopt niet. Mijn ervaring bij anderen is, betaling van de borg bij aankomst aan de eigenaar en borg retour bij vertrek.
