Our vacation home is located between forests and countryside. It is located freely in the countryside, yet picturesque towns are within a short distance. With the construction of our house we have taken into account the standards of our time. On the roof are 12 solar panels that generate enough electricity to fully power the house. Gas is no longer used. Our water supply has been expanded with a water softener. A very nice experience while showering. Our water in the Veluwe already has a wonderful taste, but with this softener it is completely super quality. In our garden you can enjoy all the tranquility...A beautiful meadow view. Yet you are not completely secluded here. There are plenty of cyclists passing by because we are on a beautiful bicycle route.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in a rural setting on the edge of meadows, forest and water. From the cottage you can walk into the Natura 2000 area including sand drift "The Haere" and behind it "Doornspijkse heide. The area is ideal for cycling, 50 m away you can connect to the ANWB cycle route between node 27 and node 28 from where you can then make trips across the Veluwe. Water lovers can also get their money's worth here. At 5.2 km you will find fortified town Elburg with its harbor and beautiful sights. Here you will also find the Veluwe Lake with numerous opportunities for water sports. Prefer a swimming pool? Then you can visit the outdoor pool "The Hokseberg" in 't Harde or indoor pool The Wiltsangh in Nunspeet. Rather something less active and relax, in the vicinity several villages with eateries we mention besides Elburg: : Nunspeet, Vierhouten etc
