Nature house in Simlångsdalen

The cottage was unfortunately disappointing. The pictures were more beautiful than the cottage itself. Too little love and attention to the cottage.Eg curtains did not close and rails fell off the wall, mattress was very thin, exterior clearly in need of painting, no hand pump outdoor shower.

Het huisje viel helaas tegen. De foto’s waren mooier dan het huisjes zelf. Te weinig liefde en aandacht voor het huisje.Bv gordijnen sloten niet en rails viel van de muur, matras was erg dun, buitenkant duidelijk schilderbeurt nodig, geen handpomp buitendouche.

The setting was beautiful in the middle of the forest. Very nice place with a view.

De omgeving was prachtig midden in het bos. Hele mooie plek met uitzicht.

The welcome and good explanations, and accessibility were super nice! We immediately felt at ease because of this. All in all, super!

Het ontvangst en de goede uitleg, en bereikbaarheid waren super fijn! We voelden ons hierdoor meteen op ons gemak. Al met al super!

What a fantastic cottage in a beautiful place! We did not miss the electricity and water at all. Thanks to the water tanks that were waiting for us, the many lights and candles we could use and the cooling elements that were ready in the cooler. The silence was wonderful, with only sounds of nature. It was quite an experience in this cottage, and definitely to be repeated! Even without camping experience, this is fantastic!

Wat een fantastisch huisje op een prachtige plek! We hebben de stroom en water totaal niet gemist. Met dank aan de watertanks die voor ons klaar stonden, de vele lampjes en kaarsjes die we konden gebruiken en de koelelementen die klaarlagen in de koelbox. De stilte was heerlijk, met alleen geluiden van de natuur. Het was een hele ervaring in dit huisje, en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar! Zelfs zonder kampeerervaring is dit fantastisch!

There is a makeshift shower on the slope (water barrel, water hose and pallet. It is possible to wash your hair with ice-cold water, but it takes some effort. Camping experience with minimal equipment is certainly an advantage.

Es gibt eine provisorische Dusche am Hang (Wasserfass, Wasserschlauch und Palette. Haare waschen mit eiskaltem Wasser ist möglich, kostet aber Überwindung.
Campingerfahrung mit minimalster Ausrüstung ist sicherlich von Vorteil.

I have rarely been able to relax so well. Absolute silence, except for the wind in the trees and the twittering of birds. As it was wild boar hunting season, we heard a few shots. As it got dark very early in the cottage in the evening, we had to cook early. Around 9 p.m. at the latest, we retired to bed (very comfortable) to read. The peace and quiet meant we slept for a long time, but ticks were very annoying. Our dog in particular had to be checked every day. The local mosquito repellent was excellent against mosquitoes. There were countless lakes nearby. A bathing area within 20 minutes walking distance.

Ich habe selten so gut entspannen können. Absolute Stille, bis auf Wind in den Bäumen und Vogelgezwitscher. Da gerade Wildschwein-Jagdzeit war, haben wir ein einige Male Schüsse gehört. Da es abends im Häuschen sehr früh dunkel wurde, war frühes kochen angesagt. Gegen spätesten 21.00 Uhr haben wir uns zum lesen ins Bett (aussgesprochen bequem) verzogen. Aufgrund der Ruhe haben wir trotzdem lange geschlafen.
Sehr lästig waren jedoch Zecken. Insbesondere unser Hund musste jeden Tag kontrolliert werden. Gegen Mücken half das ortsübliche Mücken Mittel hervorragend.

Unzählige Seen in der Nähe. Eine Badestelle in 20 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.
