We converted the former milk room of our farm into a comfortable nature house. The cottage is located behind the farm. A spacious vacation home with a spacious bright living room, 4 bedrooms, a large kitchen, 3 toilets and a shower. Relax in the large grounds with many birds, deer, red deer, badgers and foxes. Outside is a sitting area, two picnic tables, a BBQ and a large field with fruit trees and almost 200 year old oaks. From the spacious parking lot you can follow three hiking trails across the varied Tongeren estate. Enjoy the silence or the sound of the buzzards, owls or the belling of the deer. You are staying on an estate in a quiet area therefore outside please no mechanical music.
Nature and surroundings
While staying at the Nature House, you are surrounded by the varied Tongeren estate with forest, heathland, meadows and a unique sloping bog area with a plank path. You are staying in the habitat of deer, foxes, boars, badgers. Our yard is 4 Ha. with lawn, orchard, forest, toad pool, vegetable garden and animal housing. For cyclists there are plenty of opportunities to cycle through the woods, along the heath or through the polder landscape of the IJssel. The A.Vogeltuin, just outside 't Harde, is definitely worth a visit. The Zandenplas and the Heerderstrand are within cycling distance. Two beautifully landscaped sand excavations for a day of swimming, playing, picnicking . The cozy center of Epe with several cafes, restaurants and stores is 4 km. distance. Within walking distance a restaurant with terrace and mini golf and a Nature Hotel with a beautiful terrace and delicious dishes. Peace, nature and cosiness on the Veluwe.
