We converted the former milk room of our farm into a comfortable nature house. The cottage is located behind the farm. A spacious vacation home with a spacious bright living room, 4 bedrooms, a large kitchen, 3 toilets and a shower. Relax in the large grounds with many birds, deer, red deer, badgers and foxes. Outside is a sitting area, two picnic tables, a BBQ and a large field with fruit trees and almost 200 year old oaks. From the spacious parking lot you can follow three hiking trails across the varied Tongeren estate. Enjoy the silence or the sound of the buzzards, owls or the belling of the deer. You are staying on an estate in a quiet area therefore outside please no mechanical music.

While staying at the Nature House, you are surrounded by the varied Tongeren estate with forest, heathland, meadows and a unique sloping bog area with a plank path. You are staying in the habitat of deer, foxes, boars, badgers. Our yard is 4 Ha. with lawn, orchard, forest, toad pool, vegetable garden and animal housing. For cyclists there are plenty of opportunities to cycle through the woods, along the heath or through the polder landscape of the IJssel. The A.Vogeltuin, just outside 't Harde, is definitely worth a visit. The Zandenplas and the Heerderstrand are within cycling distance. Two beautifully landscaped sand excavations for a day of swimming, playing, picnicking . The cozy center of Epe with several cafes, restaurants and stores is 4 km. distance. Within walking distance a restaurant with terrace and mini golf and a Nature Hotel with a beautiful terrace and delicious dishes. Peace, nature and cosiness on the Veluwe.

Leuke sfeer, ruime benedenverdieping waardoor onze moeder met haar rollator prima uit de voeten kon. Ook fijn dat zij in de beneden slaapkamer een eigen toilet had.
Wij hebben het prima naar ons zin gehad.
En je zit aan het bos met mooie wandelpaden.Downstairs nice and spacious. A real farmhouse atmosphere. Upstairs small shower, but fine. Also a pity that there is no sheltered place to sit in the sun out of the wind. There was a lot of wind and sun, but therefore we have not long outside to enjoy the sun.
Benedenverdieping lekker ruim. Een echte boerderij sfeer. Boven kleine douche, maar prima. Het enige wat vervelend was dat er nergens niet één ophanghaak was. Ook in de kamers kon je bv niks ophangen. We konden daar niet een vest of badjas ophangen. Een paar haken is toch niet zo moeilijk aan bv de deur of zo. Tip voor de eigenaar.
Er is op de gang wel een kast met hangertjes.
Ook jammer dat er geen beschutte plek is om in de zon uit de wind te zitten. Er stond veel wind en wel zon, maar daardoor hebben we niet lang buiten kunnen genieten van de zon.This text is automatically translated. -

Heerlijk plekje om te vertoeven. Inrichting is niet luxe maar zeker voldoende. Geen ventilatie (behalve deuren openen) op de benedenverdieping is wel een dingetje in een kouder jaargetijde. Etensgeuren belanden rechtstreeks in de bovenliggende slaapkamers.
The cottage is in a beautiful place. Lots of space downstairs inside and also to sit outside and lovely environment. The house is very noisy. We were not bothered by this with our party but I can imagine that with several children this is a thing. The managers are nice people and very helpful. All in all a wonderful stay.

Het huis is wel erg gehorig. Hier hadden we met ons gezelschap niet zo’n last van maar ik kan me zo voorstellen dat met meerdere kinderen dit wel een dingetje is. En we misten een afzuigkap/ventilatie in de keuken.
