Hey, are you ready to go out? We invite you to enjoy in an authentic setting full of charm in the polder on a residential farm near the coastline(15km from Breskens). Residents will find all the tranquility of nature around us really in a beautiful place, without close neighbors, and yet all the desirable is not far away. The house is atmospheric with respect for authenticity. You stay at the head of the barn in the converted part to house. A part of the 300-year-old barn has been converted as a house for 6 people : downstairs 1 bedroom+double bed and private bathroom and bath-on the 1st floor:1 bedroom+floor heating with 2*1persoonsbed and private shower, bunk beds (90*190cm-max 90kg)-large living kitchen on the ground floor and living room upstairs, south-facing orchard containing herbs for cooking as parsley, chives, mint, rosemary. Rich in history:according to tradition, Napoleon slept with his troops in our barn....more about this in the museum.
Nature and surroundings
It's all about the atmosphere !Feel the wind through your hair, smell the flowers and bushes, and enjoy the green landscape.Around the 300 years authentic barn there is a unique view of the meadows with horses and enjoy the sea air that flows over the polders.Regularly pheasants, buzzards ... are spotted. The historic Zeeland farmhouse is in a quiet location in the polder. The nearest restaurants are 5km away. The Belgian seaside resort of Knokke is 20km away and historic Sluis is 8km away. In the area you can make beautiful walking and cycling trips in nature reserves with breathtaking views or along the coastline in Hoofdplaat seal spotting, in short, a wonderful place for active peace seekers: walking, cycling, nice places, cozy cafes, nature and culture. On rainy days there are museums nearby or cozy dining in the beach pavilions in Groede.Place to be to unwind! Own jam and walnut oil from own trees.
