Nature house in Groesbeek

The concept is perfect. A cottage completely private, with two double beds and a sauna, infrared sauna, jacuzzi and pool. We found the cottage through naturehouse.nl and I can tell you, it certainly does not belong on that website, which already creates expectations that it can not meet. You pay the main price. Check in is at 5:30 in the afternoon, check out at 11 in the morning. 17.5 hours to use the facilities, we paid 425 euros for this.The outdoor lighting did not work. Neither did the lighting in the sauna (elsewhere on the property), so we could not use this when it was dark. The electrical outlets on the terrace did not work. There were no towels provided, this is clearly stated as inclusive on the booking confirmation. There were no clean dishes, the dirty dishes were still in the dishwasher. And the outdoor pool had a temperature that is probably lovely when it is 25 degrees outside.Up to this point we made the best of it. Towels were brought after, as well as dish soap so we could wash dishes. But when we wanted to get into the Jacuzzi we found that we had run out of hot water. The cottages on the property were all booked up and the water heater was empty. After calling and calling again, a hose of hot water was arranged from the main house, but this did not solve the overall experience and collapsed atmosphere. Again, the concept is perfect, when you step inside you are really impressed, but lack of organization and good technology makes that we did not enjoy it as we expected. And that makes it a lot of money for little. Hospitality is more than just a good concept.

Het concept is perfect. Een huisje helemaal privé, met twee tweepersoonsbedden en een sauna, infrarood sauna, jacuzzi en zwembad. Wij vinden het huisje via natuurhuisje.nl en ik kan vast verklappen, op die website hoort het zeker niet thuis, dat schept al verwachtingen die het niet waar kan maken.
Je betaald de hoofdprijs. Check in is om half zes 's middags, uitchecken om elf uur 's ochtends. 17,5 uur om gebruik te maken van de faciliteiten, wij betaalden hier 425 euro voor.

De buitenverlichting werkte niet. De verlichting in de sauna (elders op het terrein) ook niet, hier konden we toen het donker was dus geen gebruik meer van maken. De stopcontacten op het terras deden het niet. Er waren geen handdoeken aanwezig, dit staat duidelijk als inclusief op de boekingsbevestiging. Er was geen schone vaat, de vieze vaat stond nog in de vaatwasser. En het buitenzwembad had een temperatuur die waarschijnlijk heerlijk is als het buiten 25 graden is.

Tot dit punt hebben we er nog het beste van gemaakt. Handdoeken werden nagebracht, evenals afwasmiddel zodat we konden afwassen. Maar toen we de jacuzzi in wilde bleek het warm water op. De huisjes op het terrein waren allemaal volgeboekt en de boiler was leeg. Na weer bellen en appen werd er nog een slang heet water geregeld vanuit de hoofdwoning, maar dit loste de algehele beleving en ingezakte sfeer niet meer op.

Nogmaals het concept is perfect, als je binnenstapt ben je echt onder de indruk, maar gebrek aan organisatie en goeie techniek maakt dat we er niet van hebben kunnen genieten zoals we hadden verwacht. En dat maakt het veel geld voor weinig. Hospitality is meer dan alleen een goed concept.
