In the middle of Burgundy, in the beautiful natural park of the Morvan, in a hamlet near Villapourcon is located at an altitude of 450 meters our comfortable house with a panoramic view over the hills. The house can accommodate four to six people. There is a large (partially covered) terrace with a "vue panoramique" as the French say and that is not too much to say because the view is truly magnificent. Layout of the house In the house are on the first floor: an entrance hall, toilet, a laundry / shower room, a kitchen, and a spacious living room. The kitchen is modern and equipped with refrigerator, an Aga stove, dishwasher, microwave and modern kitchen utensils From the room you can walk on the large terrace. Adjacent to the house there is a large garage. Upstairs there are two bedrooms; both with a double bed. One bedroom also has a bunk bed. Please bring your own bed linen and towels (beds are 1.40 m).
Nature and surroundings
Nearby are such nice places as Autun, an ancient Gallo-Roman city, Larochemillay, a fortified town on a cliff and St. Honore les Bains, a place with beautiful "belle epoque" houses and thermal baths. The Celtic archaeological museum of Bibracte on the hill "le Mont Beuvray" is 10 minutes away. There is wonderful hiking on top of the hill. There are good supermarkets in Moulins-Engelbert and Luzy and in the summer there are many nice flea markets in the area. Here one finds peace and quiet. The calves still walk with their mother in the meadow. In the evening and at night, a sparkling starry sky bulges above Montserin. Darkness is still dark here and only the owl disturbs the silence. The house stands on a plot of 2600 m2.
