Plenty of different outdoors area, walking tracks from the Domain, access to the river at 5 min walk. Ideal place to rest, relax, admire the stars, enjoy the silence, meditate, practice yoga... But also the possibility to hang out in the village with it's bar and restaurants and organise some visit around the area. The gite Balbonne is a spacious and comfortable house. The living room has a gorgeous view other the garden and the forest. Also a Android TV. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The bathroom offers a bath for some cocooning time. We are located on the edge of the Natural Regional Parc of the Haut-Languedoc at the foot of the Black Mountains, in a well preserved area, in the middle of the forest, only 3 kms away from the famous village of Caunes-Minervois. At the village, you will find several shops, including a bakery, a pharmacy, supermarket & an award winning butcher, bar and restaurants. You can also visit the famous marble quarry and the stunning Abbey (founded circa780). Many attractions are available with a short drive, from the Cathares castles, the famous Medieval City of Carcassonne, the stunning Minerve village, the Canal du Midi, some very impressive caves, adventure and animal parcs, the mediterranean beaches at less than an hour drive and we are also surrounded by wine estates where you can enjoy and taste some of the finest french wines. From the Domain you also have access to the pool, several walking tracks and river access. There is also two lakes at less than 30 minutes drive.
