Shanti; "At the end of the day your feet should be dirty, your hair messy, and your eyes sparkling. Our chalet is on a cozy, small-scale park, very centrally located in fairytale Gorssel. We have, besides central heating, no less than 3 places where you can make fire; the wood stove on the covered porch, a firebowl in the front yard and a pizza oven, where you can make the most delicious pizzas yourself. There is a double room with a fantastic bed, a bedroom with bunk beds and lots of storage space. In the living room a spacious sofa, sitting area, and games and craft stuff. The bathroom is small, but fully equipped and the pink kitchen lacks nothing. What we, and the kids, always enjoy is the outdoor pool where you can splash around endlessly. And of course the outdoor kitchen for the tastiest mud meals! Two bikes are included;-)
Nature and surroundings
From Shanti you can walk the most beautiful wooded routes and the famous Gorsselse heath is only 10 minutes by bike or 20 minutes by foot. And on the other side of Gorssel you will find the floodplains of the IJssel, where you can take the ferry to Kribbe; a nice farm restaurant, with delicious cakes. Gorssel has a beautiful village center with nice authentic stores where you can score the tastiest things, find restaurants (including the famous Loetje) and for groceries there is a Jumbo. Outdoor pool De Boskoele is about one km away. Near the park there is restaurant Jansen and Jansen and they have a great indoor and outdoor playground. And of course Gorssel is located between the fantastic Hanseatic cities of Deventer and Zutphen. In Shanti you will find an extensive folder with many more tips and addresses for the area. The partly covered wooden terrace with lots of comfortable seating, great lighting and a view of the countryside invites you to linger in the evenings. All the windows in the house are fitted with fly screens and blinds or curtains. The kitchen has everything you need. The dining and living areas are also comfortably furnished. The bathroom is very small, but perfectly adequate. The landlords were very warm and hospitable.

Im Haus sind alle Fenster mit Fliegengittern und Rollos bzw. Vorhängen ausgestattet. Die Küche bietet alles was man braucht. Ess- und Wohnbereich sind ebenfalls gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Bad ist sehr klein, aber völlig ausreichend.
