In the heart of the Alps, in the geopark the Chablais listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, our apartment (1260m) is located in the chalet-style "Residence de Drouzin" and has a breathtaking view of the vallee d'Aulp and the surrounding mountains. The cozy living room has a fireplace. The 10-meter balcony has room enough for everyone. The large flat screen t.v. has a connection to satellite (French t.v. and English TV) and there is free wifi. The apartment is bright, even in winter.And a ski box is at your disposal as well as 2 parking spaces.In the living room there are no sofa beds, but ordinary comfortable sofas. This makes changing beds every night and every morning unnecessary. There are two bathrooms, one with a sink, toilet and shower and one with a bathtub and sink. There is also a separate toilet. The kitchen is equipped with oven, microwave, dishwasher, induction hob, nespresso, toaster, freezer, etc.
Nature and surroundings
In summer, hikers in particular come into their own here. Le Residence is situated at a junction of hikes, both green and blue and red, for every hiking level. Besides hiking, you can swim in Lac Montriond (15 minutes), where there are also safe places for children with supervision in July and August. Children can also take pony rides around the lake. In St. Jean d'Aulp it is possible for both adults and children to go horseback riding. In winter, Col du Corbier is certainly ideal for families with (very) young children for a first outing in the snow and for toboggan rides. There is a beginner's slope that is also suitable for children. So parents, but also grandparents can watch the first ski lessons of the (grand)children on the terrace of the adjacent restaurant in the sun while enjoying, for example, a cup of coffee.
