Vrijwel alles is van hout en de vloeren kraken nogal, maar wij waren op dat moment de enige gasten. Badkamer en ook wc op de gang. Wij hadden de (hoge) kamer met een groot balkon aan de voorkant van het huis, met uitzicht op een heuvel en een weide met ezels. Bij het ontbijt waren o.a. verschillende soorten zelfgemaakte jam.
Dicht bij rivier en bij arboretum met kruidentuin en veel insecten.
