Nature house in Wezep

I thought it was a nice little cottage to relax and recharge. The kitchen is well-equipped (a garlic press would be handy). It’s a shame that you have to pay extra for absolutely everything (towels, bed linens, dish towels, firewood). Personally, I think that should be included in the price, but oh well. The AC is really nice, and you can adjust it yourself. It’s also nice that there’s a washing machine and a drying rack. It was perfect for peace and relaxation.

Vond het een leuk huisje om lekker even bij te tanken. De keuken is goed uitgerust (knoflookpers zou nog handig zijn) Wel jammer dat je echt voor álles (handdoeken, bedlinnen, keukendoeken, hout) extra bij moet betalen. Ik vind zelf dat dat in de prijs zou kunnen zitten, maar goed. De airco is wel heel fijn, deze kan je zelf instellen. Ook fijn dat er een wasmachine en wasrekje bij zit. Voor rust en relaxen was het perfect.

The owner was friendly and explained clearly how the hot tub works, noting that it takes about three hours to heat up. But it stayed warm for the rest of the stay, so it’s a little work upfront, but it’s worth it. Beautiful surroundings, stunning views from the cottage (sunrise and sunset). It was peaceful; we weren’t bothered by other people on the property. You could hear the horses occasionally, but it wasn’t disruptive. The cottage itself was clean, tidy, and well-equipped. The only thing I found disappointing was that there was a Senseo coffee maker; that doesn’t quite fit with the luxurious feel and experience of the cottage. The fireplace in the living room is also wonderful and heats up the place quickly. All in all, a good cottage with the absolute downside being the mattresses, or rather the mattress toppers on the beds. These kept sliding off all the time and were really uncomfortable—very hard. I’m really not a picky sleeper, but an investment in good mattresses would make this cottage absolutely perfect.

Vriendelijke eigenaar, legde goed uit hoe de hottub werkt en dat het dus ongeveer drie uur duurt voordat die warm gestookt is. Maar deze bleef de dagen erna ook warm, dus 1 keer even wat werk maar dan heb je ook wat. Mooie omgeving, mooie uitzichten vanaf het huisje (zonsopgang en ondergang) Het was rustig, geen last gehad van andere mensen op het terrein. De paarden hoorde je heel soms, maar dat was niet storend. Huisje zelf was schoon, netjes en goed uitgerust. Enige wat ik jammer vond, was dat er een Senseo apparaat stond, dat is niet helemaal in lijn met de luxe uitstraling en ervaring van het huisje. De open haard in de woonkamer is ook heerlijk en geeft snel veel warmte. Al met al een goed huisje met als absoluut minpunt de matrassen, of liever gezegd de toppers op de bedden. Deze schoven de hele tijd ervan af en lagen echt niet lekker, erg hard. Ben echt niet moeilijk met slapen, maar een investering in goede matrassen zou dit huisje helemaal perfect maken.

We hebben veel overlast ervaren van onze buren, veel geluidsoverlast van stemmen en harde muziek, daarbij vanuit het terrein zelf hele dag door gehinnek van paarden

German programs on TV would have been good but otherwise good

Deutsche Programme im fernsehen wäre gut gewesen ansonsten aber gut
