Nature house in LIBIN

A modern Tiny house, lovingly decorated but sometimes not quite practical. For example, there’s no place to hang a towel in the bathroom, there’s little space to store your own things, and you have to crawl 1 m to get to the bed.
We had a few minor issues at first, but the hostess took care of them. The house had been cleaned, though a more thorough cleaning would be needed (windows, wiping down the upper cabinets, oven). In the kitchen, it would be handy to have more cutlery, plates, and properly sized pots and pans.

The hot tub and the bocce court are nice, and the atmosphere is definitely great!


Even though there’s no Wi-Fi, the signal around the house was good!

Een modern tiny house, wat liefdevol maar soms niet helemaal handig is ingericht. Bijvoorbeeld is er in de badkamer geen plek om een handdoek op te hangen, is er weinig ruimte om eigen dingen op te bergen en moet je 1 m naar het bed toe kruipen.
We hadden in het begin wat probleempjes, maar die heeft de gastvrouw opgelost. Het huis was wel schoongemaakt, echter zou een wat grondigere schoonmaakbeurt ook weer nodig zijn (ramen, bovenkastjes afnemen, bakoven). In de keuken zouden er meer bestek, borden en passende pannen handig zijn.

Leuk zijn de jaccuzzi en de jeu de boule baan en absoluut de sfeer!


Ook als er geen wifi aanwezig is, het bereik rondom het huis was goed!

The cottage is located on the outskirts of a small village next to a large meadow. The meadow is home to several rescue animals that have plenty of space to roll around in the sand, rest in the shade, or munch on various plants. You’ll also regularly see swallows and other birds flying by, as well as butterflies and insects.

Surrounding the cottage is a fenced-in flower meadow where our dog could run freely. It would have been nice if more natural, native plants had been chosen for the area around the cottage, similar to those found in the surrounding countryside.

Sometimes we could hear sounds from the village, farm activity, and even fighter jets, but overall it was a peaceful place.

The wider surroundings consisted of a beautiful agricultural and wooded area with lovely streams to dip your feet in.

Het huisje ligt aan de rand van een dorpje naast een groot weiland. Hierop staan verschillende rescue dieren die de ruimte hebben om lekker door het zand te rollen, in de schaduw te rusten of lekker verschillende plantjes te eten. Ook zie je regelmatig de zwaluwen en andere vogels langsvliegen evenals vlinders en insecten.

Rond om het huisje is een omheind stukje bloemenweide, waar onze hond vrij kon lopen. Het was leuk geweest als er rondom het huisje voor wat natuurlijkere, inheemse beplanting was gekozen zoals in de omgeving.

Soms waren er geluiden vanuit het dorp, de landbouw en ook straaljagers te horen, maar overal een rustige plek.

De wat verdere omgeving was een mooi landbouw- en bosrijk gebied met mooie beken om je voeten in te houden.

Some minor downsides were the bed and bedding. The mattress was quite narrow for two people, while there was more than enough room to fit a wider mattress. Also, the bedding was a little too short, so that as a person of 180 cm, my feet came out from under the sheets when I had the top by my chin. In addition, a map of the area would have been helpful. Without internet, it is difficult to get your bearings, and a detailed map would help tremendously.

Enkele kleine minpunten waren het bed en het beddengoed. De matras was vrij smal voor twee personen, terwijl er meer dan genoeg ruimte was om een bredere matras te plaatsen. Ook was het beddengoed iets te kort, waardoor ik als persoon van 180 cm met mijn voeten onder de lakens uit kwam als ik de bovenkant bij mijn kin had.

Daarnaast zou een kaart van de omgeving handig geweest zijn. Zonder internet is het lastig om je te oriënteren, en een gedetailleerde kaart zou daarbij enorm helpen.

We stayed in this charming cottage last week with our two dogs and enjoyed the peace and simplicity immensely. The cottage is located in a small village with no mobile coverage, wifi or TV - perfect for being completely disconnected from the outside world. The jacuzzi in the garden was a big plus, especially with the beautiful view of a donkey and a llama. This gave an extra relaxing feeling. The cottage itself is very cozy and cozy, with all the necessary amenities. The fenced garden with 140 cm sheep wire was ideal for our dogs to run around freely, without worrying about them escaping.

Wij verbleven vorige week in dit charmante vakantiehuisje samen met onze twee honden en hebben enorm genoten van de rust en eenvoud. Het huisje ligt in een klein dorpje zonder mobiel bereik, wifi of tv – perfect om helemaal los te komen van de buitenwereld. De jacuzzi in de tuin was een groot pluspunt, vooral met het prachtige uitzicht op een ezel en een lama. Dit gaf een extra ontspannen gevoel.

Het huisje zelf is zeer gezellig en knus ingericht, met alle nodige voorzieningen. De omheinde tuin met schapendraad van 140 cm was ideaal voor onze honden om vrij rond te lopen, zonder zorgen dat ze zouden ontsnappen.
