Nature house in Neu Bleckede

The Nature house is a completely renovated half-timbered former servants' house. Old, style-defining elements (beams, half-timbering) have been preserved or restored. The first floor is heated by underfloor heating controlled by a thermostat. It is located in the middle of the Niedersächsische Elbtalaue biosphere reserve, directly on the Elbe cycle path. The house is a separate building with its own entrance, terrace and garden. The rooms are spacious, light-flooded and bright. On the first floor you have a beautiful view of the landscape and garden on three sides. The furnishings consist partly of antique furniture. A satellite system is installed. The Nature house has 70 square meters and consists of two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and bathroom. There are tame goats, sheep and cats on the property. Pets are welcome. A large orchard with old fruit varieties invites you to taste the fruits of the season. The herb garden may be used.

The Nature house is located in a unique nature reserve. The extensive river landscape can be explored by bike, boat or on foot. Birdwatchers will be delighted by the diversity of species that can be observed here at any time of year. Anglers will also get their money's worth - the Elbe with its excellent fishing opportunities is right on the doorstep. The Ark Center, just a few kilometers from the dyke, provides information about the diversity of the region and the preservation of old, endangered livestock breeds that are kept in the region. On the other side of the Elbe, you can stroll through the pretty little town of Bleckede or, a few kilometers further on, the historic Hanseatic city of Lüneburg. Bicycles, including e-bikes, are available to hire for a fee. A rowing boat with outboard motor and a SUP are also available.
