Nature house in Ferran

Domaine Maurel is very quietly located at the end of a cul-de-sac, with wide views of nature all around. Gîte B'loft is located on the second floor and is accessed via an outside staircase to your own private terrace. The living space is decorated as a loft, hence the name B'loft with a modern, fully equipped kitchen with cooking island and a central, large table. The cottage has a large, private terrace facing north. There is room for 6 people, divided between two bedrooms for 2 people each, a double sofa bed in the living area (pull out and ready, no moving of bed linen etc. needed) and two bathrooms, each with a sink, walk-in rain shower and toilet. The cottage has wireless internet access (WiFi) if desired. The nature house is completely non-smoking. Pets are not allowed.

The renovated gîte B'loft is a former storage room above the wine 'cuves' and is part of an old wine estate in which two gîtes are for rent (the other, gîte A'muse, is on the other side of the building). It is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac with all-round views over the surrounding hilly countryside, north to the Montagne Noir, south to the Pyrenees. The gîte is located on territory Ferran, a small, very quiet village with about 100 inhabitants in the heart of the Cathar region, less than half an hour drive from the city of Carcassonne with its medieval cité, a walled old town. Although the property is extremely quiet, it is nevertheless easily accessible, just 15 kilometers from a freeway slip road. In the near and wider surroundings, as an ideal change from the complete tranquility of the property itself, there is a wide range of sporting & cultural activities. During the high season, an above-ground swimming pool is available.
