Nature house in Monpazier

Within walking distance of the beautiful village of Monpazier, this authentic natural-stone vacation home in the Dordogne is tucked away at the end of a dead-end road on our 25-hectare private estate. Here, you can enjoy peace, nature, space, and privacy, while shops, restaurants, and outdoor cafes are nearby. Thanks to its thick natural stone walls, the house stays pleasantly cool even on hot summer days. The vacation home accommodates four people and features two bedrooms, a cozy living room with a wood stove and TV, a bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, and Nespresso machine. From the kitchen, you step directly onto the spacious covered terrace. The large, fenced-in private garden features a Weber grill, a hammock, Lafuma lounge chairs, and views of the valley. From June through September, you can cool off in the refreshing spa (€75 per stay) or enjoy the evenings under the stars. There is high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi, covered parking, and a charging station for electric cars (€0.50/kW).

From the vacation home, you can walk directly onto our 25-hectare estate without crossing a road. Discover forests, meadows, two natural springs, and the Dropt River. The drinking water for all of Sivade comes directly from one of these natural springs. Horses, sheep, chickens, and other animals live on the estate. Feel free to walk around and explore the grounds. We live on the other side of the property, so you’ll have plenty of privacy, but we’re always available if you need us. Monpazier, about a 15-minute walk away, is one of the most beautiful bastide villages in France. Enjoy cozy terraces, restaurants, artisan shops, and the famous Thursday market. The Dordogne is a paradise for hikers and cyclists, with castles, caves, vineyards, canoeing on the Dordogne River, and countless medieval villages within easy reach. Thanks to the fenced-in garden, the estate, and the many hiking opportunities, dogs will feel just as at home as their owners.
