We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf bij Jolande en Bert. Ik heb veel gereisd, maar gastvrijheid in deze vorm heb ik niet vaak mee gemaakt. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd en geregeld. Ontzettend kindvriendelijk! De kinderen hadden genoeg te spelen zowel binnen als buiten en vonden het slapen in de tent een groot avontuur.
De ligging is fantastisch; zo dicht bij een aantal strandjes aan het Veerse Meer maakt het helemaal af.

De rust op het boerenerf en de aanblik van hazen op de akker in de ochtenddauw, was heerlijk wakker worden. Vanaf de veranda hebben we genoten van de bedrijvigheid van de vogeltjes in de heg en de trekkers op de akkers in de verte. Vanaf het erf fietsten we over kleine, kronkelige dijkjes langs velden vol 'juun' en 'petoaten'. Heerlijk.
