Recreate pure nature, situated among the trees overlooking the characteristic scenery of the Achterhoek? That is possible in this comfortable vacation farm freely located on the corner of the small-scale recreation park "The Fountain". The nature house has its own driveway and is surrounded by trees and a 650m2 garden, giving you lots of privacy. On the 2 terraces you can relax in the sun or shade. The cottage is cozy, comfortable and equipped with many amenities. From the couch in the spacious living room you can enjoy the view in any season. Even with less weather, you do not have to be bored. The cottage has plenty of games, nice books, good internet and a smart TV. The park has its own swimming lake (7ha!) with a quiet beach accessible only to guests of the park. It is great for sunbathing on the beach, or boating and swimming/skating in or on the lake. There are canoes available for free use.
Nature and surroundings
Walking or biking from the nature house: being surprised after every turn by a beautiful vista or a characteristic wooded bank. You go from woods to meadows and from picturesque villages to historic towns. Nowhere else is the variety in landscape as great as in the Achterhoek. Bike to nature reserves such as the Haaksberg moor or the German Zwillbrocker venn, where you will find not only flamingos but also the largest black-headed gull colony in Germany. Follow the Berkel past villages like Rekken and Borculo or visit fortified town Groenlo. In autumn you can "eat wild in the Achterhoek". In the cottage and through your hosts are plenty of tips, walking, cycling and gravel routes available. Nearby is the outdoor pool "the Vinkennest" and the indoor playground and outdoor playground and zoo "Hof van Eckberge" with restaurant. The cozy village of Eibergen is 3 km away with 4 supermarkets, plenty of restaurants and a diverse range of stores.
