Get away from the daily hustle and bustle. Relax in our guesthouse in Assel (municipality of Apeldoorn). Located on the Veluwe, on the edge of the Crown Domain. From our yard you can walk straight into the woods. Take your bike, dog or horse and discover the varied forests, sand drifts, huge moors and even more natural beauty. Your accommodation is fully equipped with a lovely garden with plenty of sun and/or shade. Spend as a change a visit to Palace Het Loo, Apenheul or Dolfinarium Harderwijk. Or visit one of the cozy villages, such as Beekbergen, Loenen, Zutphen or Deventer. Stabling of your own horse is possible for 25 euros per night (stable with paddock, including hay and straw). Would you like to do something with horses during your stay, you can visit Stalhouderij de Kronkel (book in advance) for: covered wagon rides with coachman, guided forest rides, riding lessons, marathon driving and horse coaching.

The guesthouse is located on the Veluwe, on the edge of the Kroondomein. From our yard you can go straight into the woods for hiking, cycling or horseback riding. Walk to the Kootwijkerveen, a special piece of nature. This wetland area is very close to one of the driest nature reserves in the Netherlands, the Kootwijkerzand. This is a large sand drift in Kootwijk about 9 km away. In our yard there are several horses and ponies. We also have a dog and (domestic) animals are welcome.
