Nature house in Vesqueville

This house is too expensive:
+: a fantastic garden, excellent sauna and hot tub; spacious kitchen with a seating area; large patio, good barbecue, very beautiful surroundings
- no recycling, the koi pond is dirty, many floor tiles are cracked, the sink is cracked, the flooring in the kitchen and bathroom is in poor condition, no wall box for an electric car (despite the solar panels on the roof), the commercial charging station was broken, not very clean (mold in the shower, cobwebs in the sauna, a lot of overdue maintenance, no fly screens on the windows or doors (so there were a lot of flies inside the house).
We won’t be coming back here.

Dit is een te duur huis:
+: een fantastische tuin, erg goede sauna - hot tub; ruime keuken - zit hoek; ruim terras, goede bbq, erg mooie omgeving
- geen afval scheiding, de koi vijver vies, vele vloer tegels gebarsten, wastafel gebarsten, vloer in de keuken / bad kamer slecht, geen wallbox voor een e-auto (ondanks de zonnepanelen op het dak), de commerciele laadpaal was stuk, niet echt schoon (schimmel in de douche, spinnenwebben in de sauna, veel achterstallig onderhoud, geen vliegenhor voor de ramen en of deuren (dus erg veel vliegen in huis).
Wij gaan hier niet terug komen.

We enjoyed the garden and the surroundings. The house itself was less impressive.

Onze excuses ook voor de storing van het laadstation, dat normaal gesproken wel functioneert. Tot slot, de koivijver is een natuurlijke vijver waarvan het uiterlijk varieert afhankelijk van het biologische evenwicht. We zijn blij dat u genoten heeft van de tuin, de sauna, de jacuzzi, het terras en de omgeving

A really beautiful vacation spot. A wonderfully peaceful atmosphere. Spacious garden, spacious house, and a large kitchen. Perfect for large groups. The campfire area and the hot tub were wonderful, although you do need a lot of patience before the hot tub gets warm. Darts and shuffleboard… Everything was equally fun. We went canoeing on the reservoir… highly recommended. Beautiful surroundings.

Een erg mooie vakantieplek. Heerlijk rustig gelegeven. Ruime tuin, ruim huis en een grote keuken. Perfect voor grote groepen. De kampvuur plek en de Jacuzzi waren heerlijk ook al heb je wel heel veel geduld nodig voordat de Jacuzzi warm is . Darten en Sjoelen.. Alles was even leuk. We hebben bij het stuwmeer gekanoed.. echt een aanrader. Prachtige omgeving.

The cottage is in a wonderfully quiet spot. We weren't bothered by the neighbors at all, and the area by the hot tub, in particular, is a great place to relax.

Het huisje ligt op een heerlijk rustig plekje. We hebben geen last gehad van de buren en vooral het plekje bij de Jacuzzi , daar is het heerlijk relaxen.

Not well maintained!
The outdoor wellness area was dirty, damp, and covered in thick mold throughout. There were cobwebs in the sauna and mold in the hot tub as well. Disgusting!!!
The ponds were overgrown with algae and weeds.
What should have been a real plus actually detracted from the overall experience.

The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped.
We did have to wash a few pans, pots, and bowls before using them.
The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were very small. Only the two double bedrooms were spacious.

The large garden, the sunny weather, and the pleasant atmosphere still made the weekend a success.
But not something we’d do again!!!
This is the first time the accommodation has been such a letdown and so different from the pictures.

Niet goed onderhouden!
De 'wellnes buitenruimte was vuil, klam en er was zware schimmel in de hele ruimte. In de sauna spinnenwebben en in de hot tub ook schimmel. Vies!!!
De vijvers waren overwoekerd door algen en onkruid.
Wat een meerwaarde hoort te zijn deed nu net afbreuk aan het geheel.

Keuken was wel ruim en goed voorzien.
Wel paar pannen, pittten en kommen moeten afwassen voor gebruik.
Kamers en badkamers boven héél erg klein. Enkel de 2 tweepersoonskamers ruim.

De grote tuin, het zonnige weer en de goede sfeer maakten het weekend toch geslaagd.
Maar niet voor herhaling vatbaar!!!
Eerste keer dat de accommodatie zo tegen valt en zo anders is als afgebeeld

Located between houses but with a spacious garden, surrounded by greenery, yet very quiet and private

The chalet was renovated after an exceptionally wet winter; all wooden walls have been sanded down, and ventilation has been installed. The hot tub is thoroughly cleaned after every visit. The large pond does not contain algae, but it does have duckweed and other plant growth, as shown in the photo. After all, the pond is fed by the river, and after a heat wave, both the river and the pond water levels are low. Algae growth is possible in the koi pond, especially in the summer, as shown in the photo, but the fish feed on it. Swimming is prohibited in both ponds. The fact that this is a true nature house in a forest supports a wealth of wildlife. A spider needs only 30 minutes to spin a web, and some spiders spin a new one every night.

De chalet werd aangepakt na een uitzonderlijk vochtige winter, alle houten muren zijn nieuw geschuurd en er wordt ventilatie voorzien. De hottub wordt na elk bezoek grondig gereinigd. De grote vijver bevat geen algen wel waterkroos en plantengroei zoals op de foto. De vijver wordt immers gevoed door de rivier en na een hittegolf staat de rivier en het water in de vijver laag. In de koivijver is er algengroei mogelijk, zeker in de zomer, zoals op de foto maar daar leven de vissen van. In beide vijvers is het verboden te zwemmen. Het feit dat dit een echt natuurhuis is in een bos zorgt voor veel leven. Een spin heeft maar 30 minuten nodig om een spinnenweb te maken en sommige spinnen maken elke nacht een nieuw.
