The tree house dream cabin has a sitting area, 2-person bedstead, 1-person folding bed, coffee and tea facilities, and terrace at height, incl. electricity and WIFI. The size is 7.5m2 + separate box bed of 2.10×1.40. Especially suitable for 2, max 3 persons (of which 1 or 2 child). It's great to be so high up and look out over everything. Sanitary facilities and kitchenette can be found in the part of the farm. The treehouse is insulated, heated with an electric radiator and therefore quickly pleasantly warm. There is an electric blanket available and plenty of duvets/blankets, as well as a fire pit for a campfire. We usually have a room or apartment free in case of very bad weather. Pets welcome: At your own risk, well-behaved/not aggressive, flea-treated, not barky, not to be left alone, kept on a leash in connection with our poultry, needs (including peeing) outside the yard, not in the sleeping quarters (on the bed) or on our furniture.
Nature and surroundings
Somewhere in the Achterhoek stands a monumental farmhouse. In the yard, chickens, ducks, peacocks and pigeons scratch about. In the distance you can hear a cuckoo, golden oriole, horses graze in the meadow. A place out of time. Beautiful clearings in the forest invite meditation. Erve Veldink is a farm with a history dating back to the 14th century. The current buildings are 120+ years old and are listed buildings. They are located at the edge of the village of Haarlo (near Borculo) in the middle of the typical Achterhoek scenery, with its private character and beautiful vistas, where pieces of forest, meadows, fields and streams alternate. Beautiful for hiking, cycling and stargazing. The farm is occupied by a few permanent residents.
