The construction (or circus) wagon is located on a large sheep pasture, between old fruit trees, beech hedges and currant bushes, directly on the Elbe embankment. We have completely renovated the caravan according to ecological criteria. It has a double bed for 2 people and a sitting area that can be converted into an additional sleeping area, e.g. for a child, if required. There is a separate utility room on site where guests can prepare their meals. A shower, toilet and sauna are located in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation. There is a sandy beach in a small bay directly behind the dyke, which is ideal for swimming in the Elbe. Anglers always enjoy a good catch. E-bikes and a rowing boat with outboard motor can be hired for a small fee. Discounts are available for longer stays by arrangement.
Nature and surroundings
Our property is surrounded by magnificent nature with sea eagles, storks and beavers right on the doorstep. The biosphere reserve Niedersächische Elbtalaue offers exciting nature experiences in untouched nature. What's more, Germany's first transnational archaeological region was created between Lüneburg, Lüchow, Lübtheen and Boizenburg in 2011. An area spanning three states - Lower Saxony, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Brandenburg. 180 families keep more than half of all endangered breeds in the region. 33 farms have been officially certified as Ark farms by the "Society for the Preservation of Old and Endangered Domestic Animal Breeds" (GEH). The Ark Center, just a few villages away, offers a wealth of information and insights. The nearby Elbe town of Bleckede on the other bank of the Elbe, or Lüneburg with its historic old town, are within easy reach. The Amt Neuhaus Elbe ferry regularly connects both banks. Please buy a weekly ticket for the first crossing.
