We had a wonderful time. This was our second time in this charming wooden cottage! We were here around Christmas time and there is much to see and do. The Christmas markets in Wernigerode, Goslar and Quedlinburg are recommended and of course a trip on the steam locomotive to the Brocken. The cottage itself is cozy and warm, very private, and arrival and departure is very conveniently arranged with a key box. We definitely recommend!

Wij hebben een geweldige tijd gehad. Dit was onze tweede keer in dit charmante houten huisje! Wij waren hier rond kersttijd en er is veel te zien en doen. De kerstmarkten in Wernigerode, Goslar en Quedlinburg zijn aan te raden en natuurlijk een trip met de stoomlocomotief naar de Brocken. Het huisje zelf is gezellig en warm, erg prive, en aankomst en vertrek is heel handig met een sleutelbox geregeld. Wij raden zeker aan!

- Cozy, quiet hut in the countryside - great starting point for hikes - opposite is a restaurant, if you don't feel like cooking (I can't say anything about the quality / price performance, we didn't eat there) Reaction of the landlord: We are sorry that it was partly dirty. We will remedy this immediately.

- gegenüber ist ein Restaurante, wenn man mal keine Lust hat zum Kochen (Zur Qualität / Preis Leistung kann ich nichts sagen, wir waren dort nicht essen)

Reaktion des Vermieters:
Es tut uns leid, dass es teileweise schmutzig war. Wir werden das umgehend abstellen.

- nice and cozy cottage - there was a microwave incl. oven function included, a "normal" oven was not available - it was a little dirty when we arrived (dishes, floor, sink) - the landlords were on site and did garden work

- schöne und gemütliche Hütte
- es war ein Mikrowelle inkl. Backofenfunktion enthalten, ein "normaler" Backofen war nicht vorhanden
- es war ein wenig dreckig als wir angekommen sind (Geschirr, Boden, Spühle)
- die Vermieter waren vor Ort und haben Gartenarbeit getätigt

Unfortunately not as described. Negative review received due to child's paint under the table. A message about this would have been nice Comment from the landlord: It is very unfortunate that it was apparently too cold. Unfortunately, the guests did not inform the manager or myself. The problem could have been easily solved by adjusting the heating.

Leider nicht der Beschreibung entsprechend. Negative Bewertung erhalten aufgrund von Kindmalfarbe unter dem Tisch. Eine Nachricht dazu wäre schön gewesen

Es ist sehr bedauerlich, dass es offenbar zu kalt war.
Leider haben die Gäste weder den Manager noch mich informiert.
Das Problem hätte durch das Einstellen der Heizung leicht behoben werden können.

Unfortunately, it was not stand-alone. You couldn't adjust the heating. It was really cold.

Lag leider nicht alleinstehend. Die Heizung konnte man nicht verstellen. Es war echt kalt.
