Welcome to this nature house, a bright and spacious cottage with up to 4 bedrooms and room for up to 10 people. There is a cozy living room with kitchen and conservatory with lovely views. In the old trees next to the house the birds chatter, the deer graze in the meadow and in the garden the chickens scratch. The rooms have access through a corridor on the ground floor and a French door to an outdoor seating area. Rooms 1 and 2 (1x 2-p or 2x 1-p bed) have a sink and use the Shared Sanitary at the end of the corridor. Rooms 3 and 4 (1x 2-p and 1x 1-p bed) have their own bathroom (shower/toilet). On the second floor there is -nb: to be rented separately- a small room for meetings/yoga and a small consultation/treatment room. In addition to these rooms, we also rent a Yurt for 2p. and have a small camping area. Guests of the Yurt also use the Shared Sanitary facilities via a private entrance. Sauna and Hot tub (€100per daypart in consultation.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located in its own wooded garden, among the grasslands, on the Protected Village Area of Ravenswoud. In the garden and by the pond you can relax and in the immediate vicinity you can walk in the Compagnonsbossen (500 meters away), the Fochteloërveen (2.5 km away) with its cranes and the Drents-Friese Wold (5 km away) with its forest, heathland, sand drifts and swimming water. On the canal along the road you can canoe or SUP and you can cycle straight into the cozy Drenthe or fresh Friesland. In Appelscha (3 km) you will find many tourist activities and fine restaurants. We are happy to advise you based on what you are looking for and can tell you about the nature and landscape in the area. At this nature house you experience nature and come closer to yourself, to your own nature. The Hot tub (6p.) Wood-fired Sauna (4p.), cold bath and lounge-house at the meadows is, in consultation in advance, per half day for rent for € 85.
