Nature house in Archon

The quiet and freely located spacious vacation home (150m2) is an old farmhouse with modern and extensive comfort, is fully available to you, and comfortable in any season. The grounds (1500m2) are fenced and safe for children and pets. The old beams, the authentic barn, and the cozy wood stove give you the feeling of history. The kitchen with all amenities (including dishwasher, microwave/oven, refrigerator), bathroom with sink and walk-in shower, central heating and tilt-turn windows in all (sleeping) rooms, internet, wifi, and washer/dryer give you the comforts of home. There is a cozy sitting room (with smart TV and audio system), a separate dining area, and a stylish garden room. There are three double bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor. Upstairs is another spacious "playroom" (including a table tennis table). A baby bed/chair is available. From each room you have a beautiful view of the garden with fruit trees / bushes, vegetable garden and the hilly surroundings.

The house is located on the edge of the hamlet of Archon on the border of the Aisne department (Picardy region, Hauts-de-France region, Northern France) and the French Ardennes. This protected natural area is called "the Thiérache," a varied rolling landscape of meadows, fields, hedges, forests, streams and small hamlets. The area is very quiet, spacious and green with beautiful views. The area is very sparsely populated. From the garden with several seating areas, where you can stay in the sun or in the shade of the trees, you can enjoy the silence and have a beautiful view of the hilly surroundings, the nearby forests and meadows with sheep and grazing cows. In the evening you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets and the impressive starry sky. In short, a wonderful place to unwind.
