Welcome to my home, an old barn that's been converted into an "open space". It's 100m2 on 2 levels, with no partitions (except for the bathroom and toilet, of course), and a ceiling height of 8m. As my main residence, you'll find all the comforts you need, including a well-equipped kitchen (but no dishwasher), well-kept furnishings and a few green plants. You won't have access to some of the furniture and storage space, which is dedicated to my personal belongings. Outside, on the garden side, there's a 45m2 terrace, which includes a covered area with kitchenette, and a 600m2 plot with a small driveway where you can park 3 vehicles. As this side of the house has no direct neighbors, and the street that runs alongside the plot is not very busy, you'll be able to enjoy it at your leisure and in total peace and quiet.
Nature and surroundings
Rougnat is a small, typical Creusois village of less than 500 people, with only an elementary school and the town hall, which acts as a post office. You'll find all the shops and services you need in the neighboring village of Auzances, 3km away. Throughout the surrounding countryside, you'll discover a multitude of paths, forests, rivers, lakes and ponds for beautiful walks or bike rides, and pleasant moments of fishing and swimming. A few pointers: As the village is in the east of the département, we're at the gateway to the Auvergne and the Parc des Volcans, and Clermont-Ferrand and the Puy-de-Dôme are only 70km away. We're also just 70km from the center of the Millevaches nature park; Aubusson, 36km away, is home to the world-famous tapestry museum; and Evaux-les-Bains, 14km away, has thermal baths and a casino.
