Nature house in Lichtervelde

No dishwasher, but we didn't shy away from washing dishes together. We had some good chats while doing the dishes: :)

Geen vaatwas maar samen afwassen werd niet ontzien. Goede babbels aan de afwas: :)

What a paradise! Despite the heat wave, we had a wonderful weekend here. We enjoyed:
- the very warm welcome, the great hospitality, and the willingness to help wherever possible
- Christa’s great effort to welcome us into a house that was as cool as possible, despite the heat
- the large “hangar”: an ideal space to escape the heat and rain, plus an excellent play area for the kids
- the large garden with plenty of greenery and a huge, beautiful weeping willow under which we all spent many blissful hours
- the comfortable beds and rooms with private bathrooms—what a treat!
- ...

This house comes highly recommended in every respect: the surroundings, the space, nature, comfort, and the warm hospitality!

Wat een paradijs! Ondanks de hittegolf hadden wij hier een zalig weekend. We hebben we genoten van:
- de zeer hartelijke ontvangst, de grote gastvrijheid en bereidheid om te helpen waar kan
- de grote inspanning van Christa om ons, ondanks de hitte, te ontvangen in een zo-koel-mogelijk-huis
- de grote 'hangar': een ideale ruimte tegen hitte/regen + uitstekende speelruimte voor de kinderen
- de grote tuin met veel groen en een enorme, prachtige treurwilg waaronder wij allen zalige uren doorbrachten
- de goede bedden en kamers voorzien van eigen badkamer, wat een comfort!
- ...

Dit huis is een aanrader op alle vlak. Omgeving, ruimte, natuur, comfort, hartelijkheid!

Zeer mooi huisje, de kinderen hebben genoten van de tuin. Enige kleine minpuntje, de keuken is niet zo praktisch

Een echte aanrader

Blessed house. Nice accommodation. Beautiful rooms. Very clean and well cared for. A luxury to have a toilet and shower in each room, as well as 2 more downstairs. Very friendly host and hostess. You can always talk to them and they help where necessary with advice and action and with material that you happen to have forgotten. Children can collect eggs, feed the fish together with the host... In short: it was super fun on all levels. Highly recommended. Anne

Zalig huis. Leuke accommodatie. Mooie ruimtes. Heel netjes en verzorgd. Een luxe om op elke kamer een toilet en douche te hebben, alsook nog eens 2 extra beneden. Heel vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw. Je kan hen altijd aanspreken en ze helpen waar nodig met raad en daad én met materiaal dat je toevallig vergeten bent. Kindjes mogen eitjes rapen, vissen eten geven samen met de gastheer...Kort en bondig: het was supertof op alle vlakken. Een aanrader. Anne

Beautiful location. Easily accessible. Beautiful surroundings with forest nearby. Beautiful large garden with lots of space for the children to play with nice swings and playhouses and sandbox. And lots of space for them to safely and undisturbed cycling, stepping, rollerblading.... around the garden. A paradise for children. And as a parent/grandparent you can enjoy quietly without having to worry.

Prachtige ligging. Vlot bereikbaar. Prachtige omgeving met bos vlakbij. Mooie grote tuin met veel speelruimte voor de kinderen met leuke schommels en speelhuisjes en zandbak. En veel plaats voor hen om ongestoord en veilig te fietsen, te steppen, te skeeleren.... rond de tuin. Een paradijs voor kinderen. En als ouder/ grootouder kan je rustig genieten zonder je zorgen te moeten maken.
