Beautifully located forest cottage for rent! A cottage for nature lovers and peace seekers, located between Groesbeek and Nijmegen. It is located on a private property of 835 m2 with large pines and oaks on it. There is sun and shade. The garden is visited by many species of birds and by squirrels.The cottage is part of the original park; it is an attractive stone cottage, built in 1962. Recently it has been insulated and refurbished. It is 45 m2, the living room faces south. The cottage is not equipped for small children. Children are welcome from the age of 8 years. Pets are not allowed. Bed linen is provided. Please bring your own kitchen and bathroom linen. The cottage is "basic", with nice beds, good wifi and good kitchen equipment. There is no oven / dishwasher / TV. There is a filter coffee maker. Filter bags/oil/some spices/hand soap/dishwashing liquid etc. are provided.
Nature and surroundings
Surrounding the park is the Groesbeek forest, where you can regularly encounter roe deer at dusk. In the area you can make beautiful walks and bike tours. For example in the nature reserve Sint Jansberg or on the Mookerheide; in the German Reichswald, on the Duivelsberg, in the Ooijpolder. You can cycle to Kleve and on the way stop at the tea garden of Gästehaus Lindenhof in Mehr. And much more. For mountain bike lovers, there are routes in the immediate vicinity. A five-minute walk away you can have a drink or lunch in a nice forest cafe, while watching gliders take off and land. And if you're in the mood for culture, it's a half-hour bike ride to the center of Nijmegen, the first 15 minutes of which are through the woods.
