A lovely spot. A clean, cozy home. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you could need. The living room is upstairs, which took some getting used to for our dogs, who aren’t used to walking up stairs, but the atmosphere and the view of the meadows and the clouds drifting by are wonderful. Our only criticism was the bed—a very hard mattress, but that’s a matter of taste. However, the bed frame creaked with every movement, which didn’t help our sleep. A lovely, spacious garden where the dogs can run free. You do have to be careful with small dogs, though, because the gap between the bottom two planks of the fence separating the garden from the animal pasture is quite wide, so small dogs could get through to the animals. The fence between the garden and the road is well secured. The peace and quiet around the house is wonderful and restorative. An unforgettable experience.

Een heerlijk plekje. Een schoon, gezellig ingericht huis. In de keuken ontbreekt niets w.b.t keukenapparatuur. De woonkamer is boven en dat was even wennen voor onze hondjes die niet gewend waren trap te lopen maar de sfeer en het uitzicht over de weilanden en voorbij drijvende wolken is heerlijk. Het enige puntje van kritiek was wat ons betreft het bed, een heel erg hard matras maar dat is een kwestie van smaak. Maar het ledikant kraakte eigenlijk bij elke beweging wat niet bevorderlijk was voor onze nachtrust. Een hele fijne ruime tuin waar de hondjes los kunnen lopen. Het is wel opletten met kleine hondjes omdat de ruimte tussen de onderste twee planken van de afscheiding tussen de tuin en de dierenweide erg ruim is waardoor kleine hondjes bij de dieren zouden kunnen komen. De omheining tussen de tuin en de weg is weg goed afgesloten. De rust om het huis is heerlijk en helend. Een onvergetelijke ervaring.

The location of this house is breathtaking. From the house and the garden, you have a direct view of the beautiful landscape. All day long, you can hear and see birds; a pair of swans with their cygnets rest on the bank of the ditch in the garden, and a pheasant walks among the goats in the animal pen. From the house, you can walk straight into the beautiful nature reserve, with plenty of hiking trails. Unfortunately, many of the hiking trails were closed until July 1 during our stay due to the breeding season, but thanks to a tip from the owner, we were able to take a few lovely walks with our dogs a short drive away. For anyone who loves peace, nature, hiking, or biking, this is paradise on earth. The friendly and hospitable owners make the experience complete. We look back on a wonderful weekend in this beautiful area.

De plek waar dit huis staat is adembenemend. Vanuit het huis en de tuin kijk je zo het prachtige landschap in. De hele dag hoor en zie je vogels, een koppel zwanen met jongen rust uit aan de oever van de sloot in de tuin, een fazant loopt tussen de geitjes in het dieren weitje. Vanuit het huis loop je zo het prachtige natuurgebied in, wandelroutes genoeg. Helaas waren er tijdens ons verblijf heel veel wandelpaden dicht tot 1 juli i.v.m. het broedseizoen maar na een tip van de eigenaar hebben we even verderop met de auto nog een paar heerlijke wandelingen kunnen maken met onze honden. Voor wie van rust, natuur, wandelen of fietsen houdt is het hier een paradijs op aarde. De vriendelijke en gastvrije eigenaren maken het geheel compleet. Wij kijken terug op een heerlijk weekend in dit prachtige gebied.
