After driving up the hill for a couple of minutes - surrounded by nature the entire way - you'll arrive to this wonderful, newly renovated cottage which is located right above the city of Dinant. The cottage is in the middle of a Natural Reserve, in the middle of the forest, without a single neighbour anywhere close. It's only you, overseeing the entire city while safely nested in nature. When first stepping into the house, you'll be greeted by an astonishing view of Dinant thanks to the four massive windows across the terrace. To your left, a fully equipped kitchen, built by crasftmen using both old & upcycled stoves and new, noble wood for the countertop & dining table. An indoor garden will provide you with a "breath of fresh air" inside and some green-lush colour next to you ... To your right, the living room, decorated with a Chesterfield in front of an open fire. Next to it, a massive 600-kg stone on the wall, as a nod to the "Rocher Bayard" in at the entrance of the city.
Nature and surroundings
... further you'll find your bedroom, surrounded by nature while keeping the same view of the city, with en-suite bathroom with both italian shower and a bathtub that gives you a discrete view of the open fire. You may decide to go outside on the terrace where a large jacuzzi awaits - already warm & ready to be used - or to explore the house further and go downstairs where you'll find the "wellness room", with an infrared sauna a feel-good atmosphere

The cottage is fully equipped. The Jacuzzi and the fireplace are definitely a big plus.
Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien. Jacuzzi en de haard zijn echt een grote plus
The cottage is really in the middle of nowhere: absolutely wonderful! And the view is amazing! It's very well-maintained.

Nice location, but we didn't think the cottage was very clean; there were burn marks on the couch, and we missed the window treatments and lighting at the front of the cottage.
Mooi locatie, huisje vonden wij niet super schoon, er zaten brandplekken in de bank en wij miste de raamdecoratie en verlichting aan de voorkant van het huisje.
Beautiful views, and still close to a village. We had expected less noise from the city, though.
Prachtig uitzicht en toch dicht bij een dorp zitten. Hadden wel minder geluiden van de stad verwacht.
