After driving up the hill for a couple of minutes - surrounded by nature the entire way - you'll arrive to this wonderful, newly renovated cottage which is located right above the city of Dinant. The cottage is in the middle of a Natural Reserve, in the middle of the forest, without a single neighbour anywhere close. It's only you, overseeing the entire city while safely nested in nature. When first stepping into the house, you'll be greeted by an astonishing view of Dinant thanks to the four massive windows across the terrace. To your left, a fully equipped kitchen, built by crasftmen using both old & upcycled stoves and new, noble wood for the countertop & dining table. An indoor garden will provide you with a "breath of fresh air" inside and some green-lush colour next to you ... To your right, the living room, decorated with a Chesterfield in front of an open fire. Next to it, a massive 600-kg stone on the wall, as a nod to the "Rocher Bayard" in at the entrance of the city.

Mirjam May 26, 2025 General rating:A folder with what to do in the area with e.g. hiking trails etc might be an idea. We personally missed a table with two chairs. Because we liked the stools but not for a whole evening to sit on.
Een map met wat er in de buurt te doen is met bv wandelroutes ed is misschien een idee. Wij misten persoonlijk een tafeltje met twee stoeltjes. Omdat we de krukken mooi vonden maar niet om een hele avond op te zitten.
