After driving up the hill for a couple of minutes - surrounded by nature the entire way - you'll arrive to this wonderful, newly renovated cottage which is located right above the city of Dinant. The cottage is in the middle of a Natural Reserve, in the middle of the forest, without a single neighbour anywhere close. It's only you, overseeing the entire city while safely nested in nature. When first stepping into the house, you'll be greeted by an astonishing view of Dinant thanks to the four massive windows across the terrace. To your left, a fully equipped kitchen, built by crasftmen using both old & upcycled stoves and new, noble wood for the countertop & dining table. An indoor garden will provide you with a "breath of fresh air" inside and some green-lush colour next to you ... To your right, the living room, decorated with a Chesterfield in front of an open fire. Next to it, a massive 600-kg stone on the wall, as a nod to the "Rocher Bayard" in at the entrance of the city.

Truly a lovely little cottage. Great location: surrounded by nature, yet just a stone’s throw from a really charming little town: Dinant.
Definitely don’t go for the breakfast—ours arrived at 9:45 a.m. and was neither tasty nor fresh. Plus, it was hopelessly overpriced. The breakfast for the guests who stayed before us was still sitting in the fridge (and they felt the same way). There isn’t really a comfortable table to sit at, but you don’t really need one anyway. There are two lovely chairs on the balcony, and with the hot tub, fireplace, and sauna, you’ll have plenty to keep you entertained.
All in all, highly recommended.Echt een heerlijk huisje. Geweldige locatie: in de natuur, maar toch op een steenworp afstand van een heel leuk stadje: Dinant.
Ga absoluut niet voor het ontbijt, dat kwam bij ons om 09:45u en was echt niet lekker of vers. Daarnaast hopeloos overpriced. Het ontbijt van onze voorgangers stond ook nog geheel in de ijskast (die hadden dezelfde mening). Er is ook niet echt een fijne tafel om aan te zitten, maar dat heb je ook niet echt nodig. Er staan namelijk twee heerlijke stoelen op het balkon en met de jacuzzi, haard en sauna, vermaak je je goed.
