Nature house in Comblain au pont

Communication was poor with landlord, not seen, both on arrival and departure! Half hour waited to return key but Mr. Bernard did not come and after telephone contact he said he was unable to come. Then we got 20 euros less from the deposit because we bbq had not cleaned properly and there was dish towel in wrong waste garbage can! In addition, we had only 1 toilet that worked, 1 shower that gave hot water and coffee maker did not function properly. Unfortunately, we can not recommend renting a cottage there because furnishing and communication was very poor! Next time we will look for something else!!!

Communicatie verliep slecht met verhuurder, niet gezien, zowel bij aankomst als vertrek! Half uur gewacht om sleutel terug te geven maar meneer Bernard kwam niet en na telefonisch contact zei hij dat hij niet in staat was om te komen. Vervolgens kregen we 20 euro minder terug van de borg omdat we bbq niet goed hadden schoon gemaakt en er vaatdoekje in verkeerd afvalemmer lag!
Daarnaast hadden wij maar 1 toilet wat werkte, 1 douche die warmwater gaf en koffiezetapparaat functioneerde niet naar behoren. Helaas kunnen wij het niet aanraden om daar een huisje te huren omdat inrichting en communicatie erg gebrekkig was! Volgende keer zoeken we iets anders!!

The location of the cottage on the water with a panoramic view from the living room on the Amblève and the large garden directly adjacent to the water is top! A beautiful large covered terrace with jacuzzi and BBQ makes this house complete! Highly recommended!

De ligging van het huisje aan het water met een panorama uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer op de Amblève en de grote tuin die direct grenst aan het water is top!

We had a wonderful weekend in this nature house with our children and grandchildren. The house is a spacious and well equipped with many (extra) amenities. Spacious parking at the front. The landlords are friendly and give good explanations.

Wij hebben met onze kinderen en kleinkinderen een heerlijk weekend gehad in dit natuurhuisje.
Het huis is een ruim en goed uitgerust met veel (extra) voorzieningen. Ruime parkeerplaats aan de voorkant.
De verhuurders zijn vriendelijk en geven goede uitleg.

The house is spacious and good for a slightly larger group.The five of us had a wonderful weekend in this house. A beautiful view of the creek and fall colors of the trees. There was no cab service nearby so the owner took us to the restaurant for a fee. This was very thoughtful of the owner as he wanted to drop off and pick up again later in the evening.A few points of concern are as follows: - the hot tub did not heat up and kept jumping into malfunction, you should expect it to work properly if you book it inclusive - the kitchen is not well equipped or with worn materials like the tefal pans. For example, a cutting board is missing which is quite essential.

Het huis is ruim opgezet en goed te gebruiken voor een wat grotere groep.
We hebben met z'n vijven een heerlijk weekend gehad in dit huis. Een mooi uitzicht op de beek en herfstkleuren van de bomen. Er was geen taxiservice in de buurt dus de eigenaar heeft ons naar het restaurant gebracht tegen vergoeding. Dit was erg attent van de eigenaar omdat hij wilde brengen en weer ophalen later op de avond.
Een paar aandachtspunten zijn de volgende:
- de hottub warmde niet op en sprong steeds in storing, je mag verwachten dat deze goed werkt als je het inclusief boekt.
- de keuken is niet goed uitgerust of met versleten materialen zoals de tefal pannen. Er ontbreekt bijvoorbeeld een snijplank wat vrij essentieel is.
