Do you want a few days of complete relaxation, with plenty of space and privacy? Then book our Nature House, in a unique environment. Our detached Nature House is surrounded by nature, overlooking the meadows on a very large private plot, so plenty of privacy. In our Nature House you will find a complete kitchen and a bathroom with sink, shower & toilet. There are 2 generous box-spring beds, patio doors and 2 terraces including plenty of comfortable furniture. You will wake up to birdsong, a mooing cow or the rustling of the wind through the trees. Grass carp and other fish swim in the spacious pond dotted with water lilies. We are an entrepreneurial couple with quiet occupations. We greatly value maintaining peace and privacy. We live in an area of farms and villages and cannot be held responsible for ambient noise.
Nature and surroundings
We live outside the village center of Surhuisterveen, in Friesland. Our plot is away from the road and completely free, surrounded by nature and meadows. Around us is the old landscape of the Northern Frisian Woods but despite that you are within 5 minutes in the village center, with nice stores, restaurants and 4 supermarkets. Leeuwarden, Heerenveen and Groningen can be reached within 25 car minutes. Just like the Drents Friesche Wold and the Lauwersmeer area. There is plenty of opportunity for hiking and cycling or just relax at the nature house on one of the terraces or other fine spots, with beautiful views and lots of privacy. There is in Surhuisterveen an outdoor swimming pool the Wettervlecke and a village further the lake Strandheem.

Sietske General rating:Only positive. The cottage is lovely, at the very back of the owners' garden. You sit in total privacy with a wide view of the surroundings. The cottage is fully equipped, and really very cozy. The hospitality of the owners made it all complete!
