In the beautiful nature of the Frisian Woods lies this small-scale nature campsite. Spacious green fenced places, beautiful location right by the water and on the other side a beautiful view of the meadows where horses, and sheep are. At dusk the deer and hares emerge. Here you come to rest and hear especially bird sounds.At the campsite is a bread and breakfast service, you can rent mountain bikes ( 17.50 per day) or join a pilates yoga class (7.50). At the campsite there is a large pond, a forest strip and fenced dog play area. Pets are welcome and are allowed free of charge. The site has electricity, 6 ampere.
Nature and surroundings
The Frisian Woods is not yet so touristy and therefore just right for nature lovers and peace seekers. Nature reserve Lauwersmeer is nearby. You can swim in lakes in the area. Walking and cycling routes directly from the campsite. Fishing ponds 500 m away. Public transport and stores within walking and cycling distance. Cosy cities like Dokkum and Leeuwarden are nearby.
