The cottage used to be a pigsty. Its area is about 100 m2 (1 living space and 2 bedrooms). It is part of a farm with horses, sheep, pigs, goats, chickens, roosters, dogs and cats. For lovers: the horses (a Friesian and a KWPN) may be ridden (if you can ride independently) , without additional cost and the shetlander of 42! enjoys a brushing. The dogs run freely in the yard. They are very sweet, but do bark and do come to demand their cuddle :). You should therefore take this into account. There is a large swimming pool on the property, and for the youngest among us there is an inflatable pool. Also high chair, crib and baby carriage on air tires. There is also an infrared sauna. However, this is in my utility room which is still being remodeled. Those who do not mind may of course also use it.
Nature and surroundings
Although the farm is situated close to the A 31, the location is beautiful. Neighbors on one side about 200 meters away. On the other side you walk across the viaduct into nature. Here you can walk for hours without meeting anyone. There is also a bicycle path junction nearby, making it very easy to make beautiful bike routes. The moor museum is within walking distance, where there are often interesting excursions for children or adults. The moor is beautiful to wander around in, but there are also plenty of forests nearby for some shelter. In terms of activities, there are several swimming pools, swimming lakes, in Surwold a climbing park, canoeing in Haselunne. Tierpark Nordhorn is a beautiful animal park. Enough to do so.
