This detached family cottage is located in the private nature reserve De Hooge Heide. The house is furnished with an eye for design and comfort. The living room has French doors, wood stove, a large sitting area, spacious dining table and an open connection to the kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped for extensive cooking. There is a luxurious master bedroom with French doors and views of the forest, with a 180 x 210 double bed, and a second double bedroom (bed 160 x 200) with two windows and lots of privacy. In the basement is a bedroom with separate single beds. The double bedrooms have blackout curtains and mosquito nets. The bathroom is next to the master bedroom; a second separate toilet is available. There is extensive garden furniture, a BBQ and a parasol. In the summer months there is a 366 x 70 cm set-up pool for cooling. In the garden in a trampoline available. Dogs are welcome on the Hooge Heide. Cats are not allowed. The garden is not fenced.
Nature and surroundings
Why do you come to the Hooge Heide? For the unique silence. The beautiful nature. Wildlife spotting. Being together, away from the crowds. The Hooge Heide has been in the family for almost a century and we would like to carefully manage it for future generations. We ask tenants to treat the environment and property with care. We also expect tenants to have an affinity with and understanding of nature and the environment without disturbing it. De Hooge Heide is a wonderful base for hiking, biking, mountain biking or bushcrafting, with 8 acres of private property. De Hooge Heide is located amidst many hiking and biking/mountain biking trails. You will also be able to spot wildlife on the Hooge Heide: red deer, roe deer, boars and the occasional badger or fox can often be seen on the Hooge Heide. Near the Garden House there are busy trails for both boar, deer and roe deer. Music and open fires are not allowed outside due to its remote location and nearby wildlife.
