Nature house in Oisterwijk

You get what you book. From the outside, this cottage isn’t the prettiest, but inside you have all the amenities you need, and it’s surprisingly cozy! It’s well-furnished with a solid kitchen, bathroom, and toilet. There’s also plenty of storage space for clothes. I wouldn’t stay here with four adults, but if you have one or two kids, it’s definitely a good fit. You also have your own parking spot in the yard, which is very convenient! All in all, a solid 7. You get more than you’d expect at first glance.

Je krijgt wat je boekt. Dit huisje is van buiten niet de mooiste maar je hebt binnen alle gemakken die je nodig hebt en het is verassend knus! Het is prima ingericht met een degelijke keuken, badkamer en toilet. Ook is er voldoende opbergruimte voor kleding. Ik zou hier niet met 4 volwassenen gaan zitten maar heb je 1 of 2 kids dan zeker wel. Je hebt trouwens ook je eigen parkeerplaats in de tuin. Erg handig! Al met al een dikke 7. Je krijgt meer dan dat je op het eerste oog zou verwachten.

Top location. You walk right into the beautiful forest. The cottage also has a lovely, spacious garden. Ideal for small children. And just a short walk away, you’ll find several cozy restaurants nestled in the middle of the forest, including the Boscafe. If you have small kids, be sure to check this out. Plenty of places to play! Beekse Bergen is also just a 20-minute drive away if you’re looking for a day trip.

Top locatie. Je wandelt rechtstreeks het schitterende bos in. Het huisje heeft ook een mooie ruime tuin. Ideaal voor kleine kinderen. En op zeer korte afstand heb je meerdere gezellige restaurants die midden in het bos liggen. O.a. het boscafe. Heb je kleine kids ga dan zeker hierheen. Veel speelgelegenheid! Ook de Beekse Bergen is 20 mins rijden als je een uitje wil maken.

It was all a bit sparse: used dish towels and a sponge, a quarter of a toilet paper roll, and enough coffee and tea for one day.

Het was allemaal beetje karig, gebruikte vaatdoekjes en sponsje, een kwart wcrolletje, koffie en thee voor 1 dag.

The surroundings and garden are beautiful and wonderfully green. Fortunately, we were still able to go on lots of bike rides despite the weather. Unfortunately, the mobile home needs a lot of love and attention. The space isn’t really suitable for more than two adults; the bathroom is very narrow, the walls are paper-thin, the curtains are too small, and the cleaning left a lot to be desired. We don’t mind cobwebs—they’re good for keeping out mosquitoes—but we weren’t thrilled to find food scraps on the stove, pans, and cutlery. The kitchen cabinets were sticky, and there was mold in the shower. We also had the misfortune that the slatted base of one of the single beds was broken. The owner wasn’t aware of this, even though it really should have been noticed when making the bed. Given the condition of this nature house, we were surprised by the positive reviews from previous guests.

Omgeving en tuin zijn mooi, heerlijk groen. Konden gelukkig nog veel fietsen ondanks het weer. De stacaravan heeft helaas heel veel liefde en aandacht nodig. De ruimte is eigenlijk niet geschikt voor meer dan twee volwassenen, het toilet is heel smal, de wanden flinterdun, de gordijnen te klein en de schoonmaak liet te wensen over. Spinnenwebben vinden we niet erg, goed tegen de muggen, maar voedselresten op kooktoestel, pannen en bestek zijn we niet gecharmeerd van. De keukenkastjes plakken en schimmel in de douche. We hadden ook de pech dat de lattenbodem van een van de eenpersoonsbedden kapot was. Eigenaar was hiervan niet op de hoogte, terwijl dat toch echt moet zijn opgemerkt bij de opmaak van het bed. Gezien de staat van dit natuurhuisje waren we verbaasd over de positieve reacties van eerdere gasten.

The cottage itself has lovely beds and a good shower.On cold days it is quickly comfortable. Already mentioned, at the kitchenette the lack of an oven or combi microwave is a big miss.

Het huisje zelf heeft heerlijke bedden en een goede douche.Op koude dagen is het snel behaaglijk. Al eerder genoemd is bij het keukenblok het ontbreken van een oven of combimagnetron een groot gemis.

The cottage is on the edge of a park some cottages, private parking on the road. There is catering nearby, but you do not notice it. Ideally, you can walk to hiking areas. The garden provides many species of birds. Oisterwijk is cozy with many terraces.

Het huisje ligt aan de rand van een parkje enkele huisjes, eigen parkeerplaats aan de weg. Er is horeca in de buurt, maar dat merk je niet. Ideaal is dat je kunt lopen naar wandelgebieden. De tuin zorgt voor veel soorten vogels. Oisterwijk is gezellig met veel terrasjes.
