This cozy, detached house with its own pool and spacious garden is located on the outskirts of the village of Lauzes; in the middle of the beautiful natural park Causses du Quercy. The house is located just outside the village on a hill giving it optimal privacy, but does not feel isolated: within a few minutes you walk to the bakery and bistrot. The house is surrounded by a large garden with several seating areas. From the large terrace (in front of the house), the covered dry sitting area or the pool there is a beautiful view: on a clear day you can even see the Pyrenees in the distance. The house is comfortably furnished and equipped with all amenities: there is a spacious kitchen, a large living room with fireplace, games cabinet and large TV. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds, bathroom and toilet. On the other side of the house there is a third bedroom with its own bathroom and wc. Good WIFI, outdoor furniture and bbq are available. The house is unfortunately not suitable for very small children.
Nature and surroundings
The house is located in the middle of a beautiful natural park. The immediate surroundings are lovely and rolling, but nearby there are also stretches where it is rough and rocky. For a refreshing swim or canoe trip you can go to the nearby Lot or Célé rivers. Even during hot periods, the water here remains wonderfully cool and clean for swimming. Nearby are the beautiful villages of St. Cirque la Popie (most beautiful village in France), Roccamadour and Cahors. There are several restaurants nearby and a range of fun day trips to make such as a visit to one of the many markets, broccantes, caves and castles. For the children there is a climbing forest, cart track and zoo. From the house there are beautiful walks. For some more action, you can also bike, raft, climb, horseback ride or canoe nearby. But of course you can also just sit by the pool with a book, and enjoy the beautiful view or a breathtaking starry sky!
