At the edge of a small nature campground stands caravan Loe. A spacious enclosed garden directly on water with covered terrace. On the other side a beautiful view over meadows and tree hedges. Here you will mostly hear bird sounds and see deer and hares. The caravan is attractively furnished, living room, bedroom, kitchen and toilet. Showering can be done in the small toilet building nearby. There is a hiking field, forest strip, large pond and fenced playground for dogs. At the campsite you can rent mountain bikes and join a pilates yoga class for 7.50. For breakfast you can order hot rolls. There is no cleaning fee, on departure you must leave the caravan clean. You can bring your own bed linen and towels or rent a linen package. (15 euros per person). On the double bed is a double comforter.
Nature and surroundings
The Frisian Woods is a nature reserve with water, forests and meadows surrounded by trees. It is not yet so touristy here and therefore just right for those seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers. The Wadden Islands and nature reserve Lauwersmeer are nearby. Fishponds at 500m distance. And cozy cities like Dokkum and Leeuwarden are nearby. The nature campsite is also accessible by public transport. Stores within cycling distance. Cycling routes directly from the campsite.
