A cozy, small wooden chalet (33 m²) with a covered terrace and a PRIVATE POOL just for you! COMFORT: Air conditioning, induction cooktop, dishwasher, washer and dryer, oven and microwave, fridge-freezer, TV, Wi-Fi. A cozy 2m40 sofa. Wake up to a wonderful view in the two small bedrooms with panoramic views of the beautiful natural surroundings. During the day, cool off, play, or swim laps in the private 10m by 4m20 pool (fenced and secured with a lockable gate; weekly maintenance is provided) complete with terraces, lounge chairs, and pool toys, as well as a pool house with a table and 4 chairs. There’s a SWING. There’s also a little tent for the kids. Or enjoy a game of PETANQUE, the real French way. The petanque balls are provided on-site. A landscape of vineyards, garrigue (thyme, wild low-growing shrubs, fragrant broom, and lavender), and green oak trees, plane trees, numerous pine trees, and olive trees. An oasis of peace and quiet in the heart of nature, and also a great area for hiking along the many small country roads. Evenings with a beautiful starry sky! Set on a 4,000 m² lot (total property area of 5,000 m², of which 1,000 m² includes a home occupied by a retiree, but with no overlooking neighbors; no other houses in sight). Not just nature but also culture; this is the region of the impressive Cathar castles, with excursions to places like the olive oil museum and charming markets featuring fresh melons, goat cheese, tomatoes, and olives straight from the growers, and wine tastings at the many “domaines” or wine châteaux in the area.
