Our house is nestled in the preAlps in the Park des Baronnies at a thousand meters altitude. Completely isolated and surrounded by natural wood lands, Les Planious is a haven of peace and tranquility. Off the grid all our electricity is produced by solar panels and our lovely fresh water is from a spring. The guest house is part of a larger building, but very spacious and private. What amazes visitors here is the amount of untouched nature with quite spectacular landscape . Cycling from one valley to another, along well-kept roads with very little traffic makes road cycling a real pleasure. This region, marked by the Alpine and Mediterranean influences, is the perfect playground for nature lovers. You will be amazed by the space offered to hike, cycle, climb, swim or participate in aerial activities such as para -gliding. The climate is quite remarkable and outdoor activities are possible throughout the year. It is also an area sought out by artists from as far as Australia.

Our property is nestled in the rural area of the Parc des Baronnies. The farming is not extensive , a more traditional agriculture is practiced mostly organic. One often feels that time has come to a halt here far from the crowd. It is also a great place for cyclists and hikers or families and friends simply wishing to enjoy the beauty of the nature. Spring here is spectacular with an amazing range of wild flowers that make it a botanist’s dream. Early summer is characterised by the beauty of the lavendar fields in flower. We enjoy long sunny days that you can spend swimming in natural sites like the gorges of Meouge. Autumn is delightful with its particular light and beautiful colours. The calm and quiet make this region the perfect retreat for anyone seeking tranquility.
