Lovely vacation home/chalet on quiet and small vacation park. Living room with open kitchen. With dishwasher, oven/microwave. Large bedroom (very spacious, high ceiling) with large double bed, second bedroom with sturdy wooden bunk bed and desk. Luxury large walk-in shower, toilet, sink. Utility room with washer and dryer and lots of storage/large closet. Around the house spacious terrace (with canopy) and outdoor space. With artistically designed (wood-fired) sauna. For this you can bring your own wood or take it for a fee. Bikes, motorboat and sup possibly for rent. Very good and fast WiFi (fiberglass) available. There is also another cottage of ours for rent. The house is well insulated, about 55 m2, and equipped with everything you need. Not hugely luxurious, but very comfortable. And that in a unique place by the lake, next to a nature reserve and very close to the city of Groningen (9 km).
Nature and surroundings
The house is located on a very small and quiet vacation park. There is no entertainment or animation. However, there is the lovely lake. Where you can go boating, canoeing, supping or swimming. There are several jetties for entering or leaving the lake. Next to the vacation park is the Onlanden nature reserve. A beautiful Wetland with many birds and breeding sites. Also several bird watching spots. You can also enjoy walking, cycling and canoeing. In the vicinity you can go to the Drenthe countryside or to the Wadden Islands. In addition, the lovely city of Groningen is half an hour by bike or short drive. In short, an ideal relaxed and quiet place to both the cottage and the lake and in the immediate vicinity to enjoy nature.
