Welcome to this nature house, located next to our beautiful monumental farm from 1676, carefully decorated for 2 people, a luxury bathroom, complete kitchen and cozy living room. In the bedroom a bed of 1.60x2.00 electric, and then the luxurious bathroom with underfloor heating. From the garden door you enter the terrace with "seat", where you can enjoy the long summer evenings. Towels and kitchen towels are provided, your bed is made upon arrival. In the apartment is optional breakfast available, this filled basket with local products is brought to you at the desired time. The fokke and jenny will do everything to make your stay to your liking! The frisian orange cake is ready for you! A real must for a comfortable stay in the beautiful friesland! "Oant sjen"! Also suitable for motorcyclists, where for the motorcycle safe and covered storage is available. We hope to meet you soon and offer you a wonderful relaxing stay!
Nature and surroundings
Welsrijp is a friendly village with 455 inhabitants.From Welsrijp you can make beautiful bicycle trips and excursions through the Frisian landscape.A day trip to Vlieland or Terschelling is definitely recommended.Train station Dronrijp is just 4 km and bus station Winsum at 4 km. Here you will also find the supermarket. You stay only 8 km from Franeker, the eleventh city with a rich history and known for the famous Planetarium with world heritage status. At 17 km is the port city of Harlingen, the perfect base for visiting the Wadden Islands of Terschelling or Vlieland. Furthermore, Wiuwert, famous for its mummies, is only 12 km away and you are within 20 minutes in Leeuwarden, where you can, among other things, climb the leaning Oldehove. Hanseatic city Bolsward and water city Sneek are also within 20 minutes. Visit the 11 fountains and historical museums in the Frisian eleven cities, explore the Frisian lakes! The owners can give you many tips for a wonderful day out!
