A place where you get back to nature, where you can be carefree, like in your childhood, where you reconnect with your fellow travelers, with nature, where you can feral, where less has to and more is allowed... to dream and get lost, lose track of time, and where you can stargaze until you drop... A tent in the middle of nature, in the wilderness. In an area without cars, where each person gets a wheelbarrow, a water bottle. With a common bathroom, outdoor kitchen and campfire area. Want a toilet closer to your tent? Then you can use a composting toilet. There is a small river running across the river which can bring coolness and fun. You sleep in a round tent of 5m diameter, there is a covered double bed with mattress and slats and 2 single air beds. A small campfire with basic cooking equipment is provided. So you only need to bring your clothes and towels.
Nature and surroundings
Our camp site is at the end of the town of Saint Jean de Maurienne, in Savoy. You are 4km from all the stores... and also at the start of numerous hiking trails, mountain bike trails, cols, Via Ferrata, .... When you drive up the mountain to Albiez Montrond (7km) there is a swimming pond with mountain views, you can make the most fantastic hikes both in high mountains and closer to the camp site. On the site it is also best to get lost, there are hammocks, there are shady spots, .... We want to offer a camp place where you can enjoy the peace and quiet also during the day, where you can just be yourself, arrive and nothing more. In the town there is a flea market every week, a vegetable market, there is the museum of Opinel. Near our house, at 2 km is the biggest DIY skate park in France, there is a climbing course, ... There is so much of outdoor activities that with a week you can hardly get around. And, ... You can stargaze until you fall asleep with it.
