But also with small children the house and its surroundings will be wonderfully relaxing. The name refers to the beautiful thatched roof that runs throughout the house and the covered terrace. It is also the name of the yellow (rudbeckia) and purple (echinacea) flowers that bloom in the garden. This is the only four-person, single-story home located on the north edge of the park with therefore unobstructed views of the adjacent grassy/acacre land and surrounding forests. In addition, this house stands on one of the largest plots (760 m2). Your pet is very welcome; the garden is fenced (60cm high) so your pet cannot just walk away from the plot.

From the park you walk directly into the woods, with the so characteristic bent beeches (the 'dancing' trees) and the great variety of game. And if you are tired of walking, you can watch the beautiful photo books about the Veluwe or the film "Wild, variegated families in the Veluwe" on DVD or play a game in the house.
