Belvedere can accommodate up to 8 people and has a large living room, well-equipped kitchen and features 5 bedrooms. The house also has 3 bathrooms, one of which belongs to the bedroom on the ground floor. The 4000m² garden has a south-facing terrace, a terrace roof and offers fantastic views over the fields. The barn has a carport for 2 cars, storage for bicycles and a lounge with table tennis. In the garden there are two picnic tables and a barbecue to eat outside in the summer. The village of Groede, voted the nicest village of Zeeland in 2013, is just a few minutes walk (800m) from the house.
Nature and surroundings
Belvedere Groede is located in Groede 1.8 km from the beach. North of the house, just behind the coast is the nature reserve Waterdunen. This nature reserve is in 2022. Although the area has only just opened, you can already see large numbers of birds and plants here. The salty nature in Waterdunen has developed rapidly. During your walk you will come across several bird-watching huts and viewing screens. From these bird huts you can watch the birds up close without them seeing you! South of the property is the Baerzandse Kreek nature preserve. The creek was created in 1585, when the Beggars breached the dikes. It is located in the Oude Groedsche Polder, which was already reclaimed in the 12th century.
