Attractive, detached vacation home with pool, located on dead-end path at the edge of the village. Our single-story (pet-free!) villa has a beautiful, large enclosed garden with several terraces in the sun, or in the shade of trees or shelter. Large private pool (11m X 5m) with a lovely lounge sofa and sun beds, which is illuminated at night. Because of the natural vegetation there is a lot of privacy. Your car can be parked in the yard in the spacious backyard or in the large garage with pinpong table. Cozy and carefully decorated living room (30 m²) with large dining table and two doors to the garden and covered terrace. Four bedrooms, one with extra long beds; another room is more suitable for children due to its somewhat smaller size. Large kitchen (25 m²) with dining area and nice sofa. From the kitchen you walk onto a cozy terrace with large dining table and an adjacent barbecue terrace with outdoor kitchen and a large electric Weber barbecue.
Nature and surroundings
The village of Flaux is in an area of vineyards (Cote du Rhone) and within walking distance of the house is an extensive hiking area. It is 10 minutes from the picturesque town of UZES with its famous Saturday market. At the foot of Uzes is La Vallée de l'Eure, where you can take a nice walk along the small river. Furthermore, half an hour from Nimes, 40 min from Avignon, and only an hour from the Méditeranée. The pottery village of St. Quentin la Poterie is only a few km away, as is the famous Roman aqueduct Pont du Gard On the river Gardon you can make a nice canoe trip, and also the river Cèze is very worthwhile, with e.g. the waterfalls of Sautadet, all within half an hour's drive.
