An idyllic mountain house awaits you in the beautiful nature of Slovenia, in the Završnice valley, where there is also a small lake. The Karavanke Mountains, forest, spring water, medicinal herbs, proximity to Bled and especially accessibility by car are the main attributes.The cottage is furnished with love for the wooden heritage of the building. On the ground floor there is a dining-living room with a kitchen, centered around a large wood stove. The room is separated by a small bathroom, which also has a simple antique shower and sink. Water for washing dishes is piped into a wooden funnel just outside the cottage. Upstairs are a double bed and a single bed. Firewood is always at the ready. Parking next to the cottage is available for all-terrain vehicles, otherwise there is a public parking lot for all vehicles 10 meters below the cottage. There is no electricity for full regeneration, but there are solar lights on both floors. A small concrete area in the floor and an insulated box are used for food storage. The building is located at an altitude of 1067 m.

Nearby are also the pearls of Slovenia Bohinj, Ljubljana, Bovec with rafting on the Soca, the Vintgar gorge, Pokljuka, Planica, etc. Nature offers many hiking trails, both harder and easier, where you can also find mountain huts with excellent traditional Slovenian food at very good prices (the house of Valvazor, the house at the source of the river Završnice, the house of Roblek, the Polish mountain below Roblek, the hut of Prešeren on Stolo). You can find everything about the place and its surroundings on the websites of Tourist Information and Žirovnica. During the worst drought, drinking water in 10l bottles is available for you. In that case, an outdoor toilet is used. During the winter months snow means a different regime, so please contact us before booking.
