Gite du Pacha is a fully renovated and modern cottage with a mixture of French architecture and Brazilian design elements, embodying the Bonneval Family’s French and Brazilian lineage. The gite is entirely private and perfect for a countryside getaway with family or friends. You can start your mornings with a cup of coffee in the garden looking up at the unobstructed view of Chateau de Bonneval. During your stay, enjoy walking around the Chateau park freely, including right up to the Chateau, although we ask you don’t peer in the windows. While there you can cook dinner for the family with a fully equipped kitchen and then move to the very large private garden to eat ‘al fresco’ or enjoy a glass of wine. After dinner have a dip in the hot tub looking up at the clear night sky that only the countryside can offer. The cottage is located in the French village of Coussac-Bonneval, a village in the unspoilt nature of France. Tourism is present but not overly so. In this village you can find a bakery, butcher, small supermarket and cosy restaurants. Not only is this cottage perfectly located on a small resort in a picturesque village; its surroundings in the department of Haute-Vienne (near the Dordogne and Correze departments) ensure a tranquil and delightful stay. Nature is in walking (or cycling!) distance. You can explore one of the area’s many lakes or just walk about the village. Day trips to Lac de Vassiviere or Rouffiac are familiar explorations. You can enjoy lunch at the restaurants adjoining the lake. Or, visit a castle or picturesque French village such as Brantome. Stroll through the streets or take a canoe around this village!
