Nature house in Nederasselt

The nature house is located just a stone’s throw from the historic town of Grave on the Meuse River and offers views of the meadows and plenty of privacy. The cottage gets its name from the little owls that live in our garden. The chalet was built in 2022, and at that time we expanded the garden to include a small food forest with various fruit trees and berry bushes to increase biodiversity. The living room overlooks the garden and meadow with our little animals. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, induction cooktop, refrigerator, Nespresso coffee machine, milk frother, and oven/microwave. Bathroom: toilet and shower. Bedroom 1 has a double bed (160x200) with bed linens included. Bedroom 2 is available for guests who prefer to sleep separately. Rental for up to 2 people! Since we have pets of our own, dogs are not allowed to stay. You can book a second bedroom as an extra for €50 per stay, including bed linens. We can also provide bath linens for 2 people for €15, payable in cash upon arrival.

The nature house is located just a stone's throw from the historic fortified town of Grave, with its charming shops and outdoor cafes. The surrounding area offers beautiful biking and hiking trails along the Meuse River with bike ferries, and numerous nature reserves you can explore by bike or on foot, including: Keent, Maashorst; a variety of heathland, forests, and water-rich marshlands, where you’ll often come face-to-face with wild grazing animals. The Hatertse and Overasseltse Fenlands, Mookerheide, Herperduinen, and Kraaijenbergseplassen also offer a variety of landscapes and stunning natural beauty. Also within easy reach are the luxurious Thermen Berendonck, BurgGolf Wijchen, the gardens of Appeltern, and much more. Wijchen, 3 km away, is a village with a lively market on Thursdays and a movie theater. Nijmegen is 15 minutes away; Kleve, Germany, is 30 minutes away. Various recreational lakes, including De Kuilen, Groene Heuvels, and Plasmolen, are all within cycling distance.
